Introducing our new Pastor!
Dr. Jeremiah Cochran and his wife, Amber, will be officially joining our church family in April. Our church is rejoicing to see God’s goodness and faithfulness as we conclude the search for a senior pastor. God has brought a man to Calvary Baptist Church for such a time as this and we are thrilled for the growth to come in this time of change.
Dr. Cochran accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of five and surrendered to the Lord for full-time ministry at the age of fifteen. While growing up in a pastor’s home in Cullman, AL, Dr. Cochran met his wife, Amber. They both attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College where Amber received her Bachler of Science in Elementary Education, and Dr. Cochran received his Bachelor of Arts in Church Ministries. Dr. Cochran also holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Maranatha Baptist Seminary of Watertown, WI and a Doctor of Ministry from Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Minneapolis, MN. Pastor Cochran served as assistant pastor at the First Baptist Church of LaSalle, IL and principal of LaSalle/Peru Christian School from 2008-2012. The Cochran family is moving to Huntsville from Sparta, Wisconsin where Dr. Cochran pastored for seven and a half years. The Cochrans have four children: Joshua, Annabelle, Adeline, and Jedidiah.
Sunday, April 19th, is our installation service for Dr. Cochran. Below you can see the schedule for the day. We invite anyone in the community to join us for the services and lunch. We hope you are able to join us as we welcome the Cochran family to Huntsville, and into our church family. Please contact the church office if you have any other questions.
